This article contains more misconceptions than a speech by Liz Truss. Once you include promoters, referees and even (absurdly) journalists because of their ‘service to boxing’ you can’t exclude boxers who did a huge amount to popularise boxing (and contrary to the silly comment, Vinny certainly did)
Paz' fan base was mostly relatives and friends.
His broken neck comeback story was....ok....
That should give a guy comeback fighter of the year, tops.
His resume is truly lacking.
I’m ok with Paz getting in but there’s a scoring category that needs overview. It’s the “Champions AND FORMER champions faced” category and I believe that it discourages guys NOT to face rivals at their best.
