FYI - Refugio is cousins with Carlos, Ignacio, and Jose Navarro - they're NOT brothers - however, their respective fathers were brothers. Steven's cousin is Chantel Navarro who's father is Ignacio Navarro. The Navarros, the Diaz family from Indio & the Garcia family from Oxnard now Riverside are 3 iconic boxing families that all came about the mid 1980s in Southern California.
