[QUOTE=Kimmy]I have just read that the Tyson camp are like 90% sure his June 20th opponent will be Kevin McBride. i saw this trash bum in ireland and he is dredful. He has no skill, is slow and looks border line ******ed with his fighting style. If this isn`t another Peter McNealey then what is? i`d have appreciated if tyson took Williams up on the offer of a rematch, that would have sold and meant something, but Tyson doesn`t want it, is he afraid of being KO`ed again, is he a little scared lamb?[/QUOTE

The reason why Tyson's camp wants McBride is so that Mike gets rid of his 'ring rust' and gains some confidence by winning (hopefully) by KO. I think that Mike can stage a successful comeback if he gets a few fights under his belt and stays active.
In the beginning of Mike's career he was fighting at least 10 fights a year. Even if Mike can manage to fight three times this year, I think he could be a legimate contender. Although my gut tells me not to get my hopes up.

One last point: Champions and legimate contenders today don't seem to fight as much as they did during Muhammad Ali's era. When Ali was around he was fighting an average 4-5 fights per year. So, why are fighters like V.Klitscho,Byrd,Toney,Ruiz, and Tyson so reluctant to fight more often? Wouldn't they earn more money?

Its not the fighters. Its the medical law now that they can`t and also the big fighters have big fights. They take months to promote so in fact you make more money fighting less because the efforts are put into the promotion and build up of an event and not in the ring!

McBride may be the slowest, most ponderous man I've ever seen in all of sports. Peter McNeely would definitely kick this guy's ass. It would take a miracle for him to survive a round with Butterbean. That's how bad he really is.

I watched him fight on Friday night, not expecting much, and was sickened by how awful he really was. I've seen slow motion video of the speedier fighters (Mayweather, RJJ) move quicker than McBride.

It's not about manhood dude. Tyson's an old guy now; it would be ****** to just offer himself up in bouts he can't win.

In McBrides defense, it was St.Patty's and he is Irish so you know he was super drunk during the fight. In between rounds 2 and 3 I'm pretty sure the water bottle had beer in it, anybody else catch that?

I don't have anything against Kimmy and I am not trying to start trouble but does anyone find it funny that Kimmy's posts and threads are all about Mike Tyson? If you hate Tyson so bad why would you devote so much to talking about him? Hell I even spotted Kimmy on TysonTalk.com LOL

I'm pretty sure that Sanders is retired again after hurting his back a in training a couple of months ago.
