      Dirrell 2 time chamption
      Lemiuex former champion
      Plant former wc
      Andrade 2 division champ

That right there is already a better Resume than someone like GGG.

      And Andrade was not undersized.

Andrade is a fvkcing 154 pounder

Deryvchenko and Jacobs are way better than all of those names and lemiuex was in his prime when he lost to golovkin lmfao clown

Dirrell was 35, which is the same age as Bam's best wins, which is apparently enough to put him on the p4p list. GGG was 36 when Canelo beat him. Crawford is 37, Usyk 37. When it comes to David, 35 is apparently ancient lol. Andrade was not a 154 pounder, he weighed in at 168, do you even understand boxing? lol.

Deryvchenko better than them? The guy who has never been a champion and lost to Charlo and Mungia? lol bye troll.

-Anthony Dirrell was 34 years old with a record of 33 wins (24 KOs) and 1 loss to Badou Jack who became a three-division champion (168-200). Benavidez was 22 years old when he beat Dirrell coming off 6 consecutive wins since his loss.

-Demetrius Andrade rehydrated up to 190 (4+ more pounds than Benavidez), and was formerly a Middleweight Champion compared to Munguia, there is no involvement by David on why Demetrius decided to move up either who had debuted in the division against Desmond Nicholson and attempted to entice Canelo to give him a shot.

-Plant had a definitive advantage with the ref Kenny Bayless, allowing Caleb to commit fouls without penalties, such as using of illegal holding and low blows. Plant also was allowed to reset and recover whenever he was hurt, without any count downs either. Plant was coming off a win over a aged Anthony Dirrell and has now comeback beating a top 10 Super Middleweight in McCumby. He is still in his physical prime.

-Agree that Lemiux was an quite aged fighter and a fringe contender at 168 at best, but considering his power still followed up and he was formerly a champion at 160, DB is still good that DB made short work of him. There is also nice win by Benavidez who had a injured hand 4-8 weeks prior over a aged but formidable Gvozdyk in his light heavyweight debut. A hard-hitting former champion that likely beat Callum Smith or Anthony Yarde.

(Difficult to say how he do with Joe Smith Jr right now considering Joe hasn't fought for year and will apparently fight in 2025).

Whether you agree or disagree with some of the replies in this post. You have to admit that Benavidez is a whole more deserving of a title shot than anyone Alvarez fought prior and after his loss to Bivol in his Super Middleweight run. If he were to win against Morrell who was the WBA title challenger and is a top 5 fighter at 168-175, then it would solidify it further that Benavidez is an elite fighter that Canelo just didn't want any part of.

None of the former champs Canelo fought in his undisputed run weren't any less deserving than Benavidez to be fair if we consider the fact all them were Champs with title defenses and none of them got stripped for undiscipline or drugs as far as I recall unlike Benavides (who btw won vacant belts) losing em both outside the ring, actually if it wasnt for that, Canelo-Benavidez would've been imminent back then imo.

Not trying to discredit Benny's smw run after that but we cant just disregard that very important fact on his record.

Did you guys even see the fvkcing dirrell fight!? You guys acting like he won in some grand fashion. It was fvkcing boring and it got stopped cause dirrell easily gets cut!

So Andrade is fat what you're telling me. It backfired. Weight isn't important if you're shorter

I agree that bumavidez deserves a shot. I never said that he doesnt.

Overall my point is hes dead on average and his resume sucks. As does Morrells which is even worse

That's why the 168 division were lining up to fight them.
