No money in it for Jake. The squeeze isn’t worth the juice. Ward was never a PPV attraction. He has nothing to offer.

Not too sure if any of us would take the trip to see him in Vegas or LA. He is an all time great like Vernon Forrest, but could never sell out a stadium.

I mean alot of these retired fighters would see Paul and think easy money. Wards still only 38-39 so with a camp I'm sure he could get in shape and be ready but is Paul gonna wanna fight someone like ward and not make the money he'd probably want because ward isn't a huge draw and never really was.

Much ado about nothing. I don't know the big deal about it. Froch wanted a piece of Paul as well and a host of others. So what in neptune is new? Of course, JP won't fight them. Same reason why Jermell Charlo ducked Tim Tzsyu. Same reason why Ennis swerved his mandatory spot with WBO and went the IBF route. Same reason why Crawford dismissed WBO order for the Fundora fight. Same reason why Jermall Charlo is no longer fighting. And on and on and on... They fear something. And these are pro boxers, not Youtubers.
So what's the huge fuss?

It is a disappointing when big names call out Jake Paul but this is prizefighting.
£10 million minimum on offer to fight a novice pro.
From Jake Paul's end. I don't mind if he just goes along like he is. Ultimately, he's putting on these events and cherry picking but if he puts on a good card where maybe fighters that wouldn't usually get as big a platform get paid than that's a good thing.
I don't feel as a boxing fan I need to see Jake Paul get beat. I mean if he does fight a ranked fighter he's gonna lose. Do any of us doubt that?Last edited by Sparked_26; 11-21-2024, 02:57 AM.real raw likes this.
