Comments Thread For: Mikaela Mayer throws her name in the hat to fight Amanda Serrano

I misspelled her name by mistake, but you're in the ballpark. I believe Mayer is overrated. She won a close decision and lost a close decision. She should face those fighters that she had close decisions against....to prove it's okay for her to even call out Serrano or Taylor at this point.Comment

Why see Amanda get robbed a 3rd time? These two have been rough for boxing in that it puts a stain on what otherwise would have been an awesome and proper trilogy. Amanda should have won either the first or second fight (or both), yet they gave none to her. If they at least gave 1 and they had 1 a piece, the trilogy would have made logical sense. Why do we need a 3rd? To watch Serrano beat her up a 3rd time some more and not get the decision? It's pretty messed up why they keep doing that to Serrano.Comment

I'd rather see Serrano vs. Baumgarder at 135. I have no desire to watch Amanda get robbed a third time against Taylor. They've done so much to uphold this myth that Katie is somehow in the same realm as Shields and Laila Ali for obvious reasons. It's comical and sad.Comment

Ms. Mayer wants that smoke ! It would be a good fight for Amanda to take while they build up the three-match between her and Katie The Ram Taylor. That said , Amanda and Katie especially aren't getting any younger. and waiting for the threematch may not be in their best interests.

That's correct sir. We made a bet on the forum on Dubois vs Joshua. Then after the fight he acts like we didn't have a bet because I didn't email him to " confirm" it.....When you offer a bet and a guy says that he will take it " and twice on Sunday " , what does that mean ? Does it mean that you have to email him to make the bet again ? Or does it mean that you have a bet ? In all of my life I've never heard of emailing someone to "confirm " something that we both have already agreed to . It sounds like some shiesty bullshive to me. I even have screenshots of us making the bet.Last edited by CPNUTKnockoutFreshMart; 11-20-2024, 08:24 PM.Comment

So I forgot about it and assumed it was off. Then the character pops up after Usyk wins. Had Fury won, what way do I have of contacting him, since he never shot me an e-mail from his address? He would have conveniently "forgotten " we had a bet. I've dealt with weasel mofos like this before on FB. When they lose, they ghost. When they win, they're in your inbox seven nano-seconds after the fight ends.
Had this character been serious about confirming the bet, he'd have e-mailed once I gave him my address for no other purpose than to establish a two-way means of contact. But he didn't.
Do you know how many old bets I have on FB I could try to collect from, but don't? Why don't I? Because in my opinion, I never confirmed them, so I have no right to collect on them months/years later. There was even a retired boxer I had a bet with that was never confirmed and forgotten about.Last edited by BlackRobb; 11-21-2024, 01:39 PM.Comment

He asked me for my e-mail address to confirm and have a way to contact for whoever wins. I never give my e-mail to anyone online because all they need is your phone number to start hacking your online accounts, but I gave mine to him. Anyway, I waited and waited and waited to hear from this clown. After not hearing from him, I assumed the bet wasn't on. "Hey, I got your e-mail address. This is mine. Our bet is good to go." I asked for your email so I could pay you on Cash App if I lost and give you mine information if I won. Not to " Confirm " a damned thing , the bet was made when we both agreed to it. If I had to hold your hand through the process and "confirm" anything you should have said so when we made the bet. You're a weasel that makes bets and doesn't pay when you lose. It was on the Dubois / Joshua fight ,worm. Screenshot_20241103-141837.png Screenshot_20241103-141817.pngComment
