Yeah... I did not watch the Paul-Tyson "fight". I have never watch a Paul brother's fight. Never really comment on the stories either for the same reason I do not watch: I am not a bit interested in Logan or Jake Paul enough to waste my time reading the stories or typing a response. I get why people are I am just not. I am also a "more power to them" capitalists'. If they and opponents can get paid for farces, go get the check.

But while I love Elliot Worsell's take on Billiam-Smith, to say he bets Paul "felt" something and then stayed upright because of fear instead of preserving Tyson by not pushing for the obvious KO is showing his disdain for Paul. Everyone in my friends groups that watched it- and I had nearly a dozen who did including both my kids with friends- all agree Paul could have finished Tyson several times over and did not. Real boxing fans can roll our eyes at the garbage Paul fights all we want. But it is way more likely Tyson could have been leveled and Paul just chose not to than what Mr. Worsell chooses to believe.

Anyway, as a guy who dislikes the image Jake Paul portrays & who dislikes his boxing shenanigans even more, I appreciate the opportunity to say...

...Paul's bow to Tyson was a heartfelt public tribute to a boxing icon & this article is silly dumb hate for no reason other than, seemingly, a sense of superiority.

Giving CBS his deserved props is one thing but it isn't obvious that he'd even appreciate having his name used for such an unnecessary comparison.

That’s all well and good. But Jake Paul is reaping the benefits of an 18.1 million live gate and 60 million Netflix viewers while CBS took far more punishment for far less on a DAZN card that relatively few probably watched and no one is talking about days later. In this case, give me the showmanship over some praise in a Boxing Scene post.

Those bits by the writer about Paul getting hit with something and Tyson being hard to hit are BS!!!! These two fighters had a pre-arranged agreement that no one is to throw ANY punches with KO power in them, otherwise, it would be a huge embarrassment to the boxing world if either had lost by KO, especially if Paul KO'd a 60 year old man. It was a staged exhibition, nothing more.

Respect, while a highly sought after attribute, never paid a bill. These boxers sacrifice, and make scraps. I can't hate Paul for doing what all boxers should try to do; make the most money, the quickest and easiest way possible, by duping a gullible crowd of blood-thirsty fans, who will not care one ounce about your well-being after the show has ended.

Boxing deserves to be treated the way Jake Paul treats it, and what he's done with women's boxing? He's actually treating boxing better than it deserves. Time to stop hating on his success and let his career play out.

It would be very interesting if he enticed a Canelo fight. What a finesse.

Sportsmanship? Chris Billiam-Smith was outclassed, he really had no choice but to show respect for one of his betters in Zurdo.
