Whichever commission sanctioned the heinous mismatch that was Danny Garcia vs Rod Salka, was ten times worse for the sport than Tyson–Paul. Friday's event was only ever meant to be a bit of fun, making everyone countless millions in the process, plus giving Tyson one last in-ring homage... whereas Garcia–Salka was promoted straight-faced as a serious boxing match, helped no-one, and sullied the reputation of all those involved.

The irony is that Buttafuoco was supposed to fight John Wayne Bobbitt but Bobbitt had to drop out after being arrested for....wait for it... domestic violence.
Damn , that must have been promoted by the National Enquirer.

Five years ago, Indiana's athletic commission sanctioned a 70 year old who last fought in 1983 to fight a 43 years old with 0-6 record (5 of those losses by KO).

This was a carnival side show as a main event, nothing more and nothing less. Celebrity boxing once treated us to Joey Buttafuoco versus Chyna. Any of the sports writers clutching pearls over this farce are no different than anyone else trying to use the event for their own benefit.
This boxing has always been WWE and fixing involved now someone like Jake Paul has rigged this boxing shyt for himself
