Comments Thread For: Eddie Hearn welcomes potential arrival of Top Rank to DAZN

Matchroom Boxing and Golden Boy Promotions are already regularly featured on DAZN. Queensberry Promotions will join forces with the streaming service in April. And with Top Rank's deal with ESPN set to expire in summer 2025, that company is looking at the possibility of a new home, or multiple homes.

Anything that means more fight cards and an end to the " side of the street " ridiculousness is cool with me.

It seems like ESPN is thinking about getting rid of them. Or best case scenario only keeping a little bit of boxing. Shows you how much boxing has declined. We need to stop over paying the fighters right away so that the best purses are only for the biggest fights

Boxing hasn't decline, it's just not at ESPN.

I'm always weary of a monopoly and it looks that way for Dazn and Saudi

I like the idea of TR being on dazn. Primary reason I had ESPN is because of TR being there. I did cancel it because it just didn’t have appealing content. After the football season I’ll pick dazn back up hopefully TR signs.

DAZN needs to replace GBP with TR.
De La Coca can go to Prime. I'm sure he can't wait to work FOR the guy who stole his entire stable.

they ought to start thinking of the fight fan and how best to get more fights that are more accessable to fight fans and to create new fight fans not how they can make more PPV money and subscription monies which is all this is about for Eddie and Friends..................Or any of the rest of them at this time.

Most of the big promoters consolidating on one platform and Turki now in possession of the ring belt?

Smells like a boxing league to me.

The guy that stole GBP's stable might do six events in 2024 and 2025 will be a repeat. The guy that stole GBP's stable needs to make fights for that stable but they need to find another Waddell & Reed with four hundred-million dollars to lose but nobody is lining up. The PBC's $80.00 PPV business model is competing with better fights for $20.00 and their money makers are old.

That's not bias, it's just the way it is and if Al Hayman can't find money soon the former GBP stable may need a new profession.
