Comments Thread For: Chris Billam-Smith touts advantages in size, intensity against Gilberto Ramirez

Chris Billam-Smith and Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez stand about the same height. They'll both weigh in at or slightly under the 200-pound weight limit. They both have earned world titles at cruiserweight. And yet when Billam-Smith and Ramirez meet in Riyadh this Saturday in their unification bout, there may nevertheless be a difference in size.

The fact Zurdo has a considerable size advantage against a guy who's been a career Crusierweight just baffles me even more how the hell he ever made 168-175.

Wonder how Zurdo will perform that now isn't as bloated as he was against Arsen and Joe Smith Jr.

Dude even started at 160. That's a crazy amount of weight movement.

A good fight, the type of fights that should be happening. I don't care who wins, but I am leaning towards Ramirez. No matter, all I care about is the winner finds the cojones to face Opetaia after he fulfills his IBF mandatory defense rumored to be on the Gold Coast Australia in early January 2025.
