My weigh in impressions (with pics)

Just got back home from the Froch - Dirrell weigh in. It was a great crowd and a lively atmosphere, even though it was freezing cold. After the undercard weigh ins and a few brief special guest appearances (Pascal, Fury, Tarver), the real business began.

Dirrell came to the stage looking confident at first, but after a while it was easy to see that he was nervous. He looked very twitchy and apprehensive. Maybe because he knew he would weigh in over the 168 limit, or maybe the crowd, the occasion, and thoughts of tommorows fight were getting to him. Froch came to the stage dressed like a suave gangster. He was cool and confident, and didn't show any sign of nerves.

I met and had my picture taken with Jean Pascal. He was very polite and seemed like a great guy. I asked him when is he going to knock out Chad Dawson, and he just let out a laugh. I also met Tyson Fury, but I couldn't be bothered to have a picture with him. Antonio Tarver seemed like a cool guy, but there was a big crowd around him, and I was cold so I gave up the personal picture opportunity. Also, his girlfriend is hot. I could have pinched her bum I was that close to her, but decided that wouldn't be a good idea considering her boyfriend is an ex-world champion boxer.

Overall it was a good, fun, afternoon. Can't wait for the fight tommorow night at the Trent FM Arena where I have my tickets booked. Here a few pics, but they are from my mobile so excuse the quality. (ps. that is not me in the Tarver pic)

To tell you the truth, I hope everyone who comes to this website is in physical shape. I mean this is a fitness sport, we seen plenty of times when a fighter is fat and out of shape he loses the majority of the time for not staying in shape.
