  • Comments Thread For: Keyshawn Davis visits Norfolk school ahead of homecoming main event

Lightweight contender Keyshawn Davis, born and raised in Norfolk, ******ia, returned to his hometown to kick off fight week ahead of his 135lbs meeting with Gustavo Lemos. It is interesting to see how much publicity Davis is getting compared to his nemesis Andy Cruz who beat Davis 4 times in the amateurs, has an Olympic gold medal yet fights in virtual obscurity deep down on under cards where most boxing fans don't even get to see much of him. Apparently Keyshawn went ape ssshhhiiiittt recently when one of the reporters mentioned Andy Cruz during this promotional tour. My guess is that Davis's management team will keep him away from Cruz as long as possible.

Keyshawn Davis isn't the one who should be given any advise to school age children when he still acts like a dammmm fool most times we see him, he's got lots of development to do not as a fighter I'm speaking of either but as a person with poor conduct an a piss poor personality. Keeping it real..................

That's good info Branko. I haven't been that impressed with Keyshawn so far. A lot of talk and hype to me.

Andy Cruz owned him in the amateur fights. Every time they came close to each other and exchanged Andy's hands were faster and more accurate. Davis just had no answer. This was 4 years ago so I am not sure if anything changed since then.
