I see what Spence is doing but it’s the wrong type of fight for a come back. He needs one or two 154lb tune up’s to see where he’s at

Errol Spence Junior, for me has proven in his career 'That he can comeback, at a solid level even after inactivity. I think the WORD inactivity, needs to be described with more detail. There are different levels of inactivity, which I have spoken about before in my past posts'.

Many people claimed when Wladimir Kiltschko was beaten by Tyson Fury 'That he was retired, and inactive for 2 years. This is usually the narrative hardcore Fury fans, like to promote. When in reality, if you investigate more in-depth into the details and go beyond the surface level. You will know that? Wladimir Kiltschko never retired, and he immediately initiated his rematch clause against Tyson Fury.

Over a duration of 17 months i.e That was the time period between Tyson Fury vs Wladimir Kiltschko to Wladimir Kiltschko vs Anthony Joshua 'The duration between those two fights was 17 months. Kiltschko had to endure 3 back to back training camps, during that time. Because Tyson Fury pull out of the scheduled rematch twice, unfortunately due to his then circumstance.

So eventually by the time Wladimir Kiltschko faced off against Anthony Joshua 'He had endured 3 back to back training camps. And was by his own estimation, in better condition for Anthony Joshua than he was against Tyson Fury. Wladimir Kiltschko weighed in at 245 pounds vs Tyson Fury, compared to 240 pounds vs Anthony Joshua'.

Note: Anyone who has any knowledge about sport, competition or just any real pursuit in life? Will understand that most of the progress and maintenance is made during preparation. Most of a boxer's improvements, and learning happens in the gymnasium behind closed doors and away from the media. It does not happen on fight night. The actual fight night competition, is in my opinion a bi-product of all the training and preparation a fighter has endured throughout their careers'.

Errol Spence Junior may not of fought since his fight against Terrence Crawford, but? For people just to immediately stated that he has been inactivity 'Really those kind of statements may not be very accurate'.

To conclude: When Spence Junior was side lined due to his accident, many years ago 'His first comeback fight was against Danny Garcia. Garcia at that time in his career, was still a World level fighter. I have always been adamant that Spence Junior's comeback fight against Garcia, was one of his best performances in his entire career'.

I was expecting Spence Junior to vacate his titles, and just take ticking over fights 'But instead he jumped straight back into the game, at World level against a solid fighter in Danny Garcia'.

Aspiring to fight Sebastian Fundora is once again, all these years later a similar situation for Errol Spence Junior 'This may just be how, Spence Junior likes to go about his business in the game'.

I think Errol Spence Junior has proven that he can, jump straight back into the game at a high level 'After a loss, and a certain level of inactivity. If Spence Junior has been training all this time in the gym, then in my opinion this will only give him a better chance of winning his comeback fight' etc.

That all sounds good but that was then, this os now after a hellacious ass whipping over a year ago. There no way he should be getting a title shot wit Fondura. He's done nothing at 154 and don't have no belts at 147 to challenge a champ. We shouldn't have to guess what errol will look like cuz he should get a fight in to earn his ranking at 154 and then go from there.

I'm just sick of the PBC cash cow/huge draw BS special privileges. Fondura shouldn't even have the wbo belt and the wbc already did their ****ery putting spence #1 so now he counts as a mandatory cuz they clearly not tryna strip Fondura for not fighting Vergil who is the wbc interim champ.

PBC is just WWE in boxing at this point. A big ad propaganda machineletting their t guys duck and cherry pick while selling narratives. It's why I can't deal wit following boxing outside of a handful of fighters, more like 2 handfuls. **** just ain't based on merit at all.

I was a fan of Errol but that fell by the way side when Bud had to chase him for 6 fights and Errol ain't want smoke all while talking that strap season BS. That was a duck tour. Same wit tank, I was a fan of his skill from way back but he ain't fought nobody fr. And on top of that he ain't do nothing but spread narratives about Dev for years instead of just fighting him. Canelo doing it wit David and Bivol who wanted his shot at Canelo at 168. Bunch of picking, tales, and , wit PBC. Worst of the major promoters

While I agree a lot with what you said, at this stage in his career, this may catch up with him. Once you reach a certain age, it may become difficult to get in "boxing shape". One of my favorite boxers of all time, Sugar Ray Leonard was fine against Haglar, but he got progressively worse with inactivity and age.

I understood Spence taking extra time off after getting beat up by Bud, but it's been how long now since he's been in the ring? Not good.

Spence, and I know you know this already, and you can find his quotes, don't do tune-ups, so let him fight so fans see where he's at.

After such a brutal destruction , his drunken car crash injuries and his self admitted drink problems .I think it's only fair to himself and the paying public that he has decent warm up first .To put him straight back in to world title fight is ******, he looked and sounded shot to me.
