Davies had acquired an inflated opinion of himself by beating a few second rate opponents easily. He wouldn't make a good sparring partner for Inoue.

Davies looked like crap. One-dimensional fighter.

Missed this one but it kinda sounds like Ol' Frankie Bullets should have paid two judges! Smh.

The 9 minutes of highlights I just watched certainly appear to tell a story of Davies getting absolutely schooled while Masoud slipped every last huge, long-travelling punch that Davies kept winging in.

Davies seemed to have a teeny bit of success with some of his shorter punches but the left from Masoud was just whacking him up all fight.

Masoud was a clear winner in my opinion , even though he should have had points taken for consistent holding.

I only picked this up from round 9 and Masoud looked classy. From the commentary they were intimating they were the best rounds for Davies. I thought he lost them all with maybe an argument of nicking the 12th with work rate even then he got timed and busted open.

Masoud looked classy. Neat footwork and comfortable fighting off the ropes.

That looks like one of those fights where you could probably tell who would win the fight if someone just showed you a minute of the tape cut so all you could see is their legs and how they were moving.

Masoud beating him twice in the amatuers makes sense. I wouldnt recommend a rematch for Davies. He won't beat that guy outside a bingo shot
