I visit this (and said quietly) other boxing forums daily, and I have a simple conclusion..

There are those that love Joe, and those that hate him with as much passion, personally I’m on the fence. However;

Be it for or against him, I suspect not an hour goes by without his name being mentioned, so surely he must have made a pretty bloody large impact on people, I’ve never seen a boxer spoken about so damn much !

He’s got his place in history, and if boxing forums continue at their pace, he’ll never, ever be forgotten.

I agree, when he was active he was more talked about than Mayweather! Not quite as much as Pacquiao is today though.

Well, Dirrell is a pos I was rooting for. But I'm not rooting for anyone in that fight now. I don't like fighters who contradict themselves and say one thing then say another. Now, I won't be too upset if the brits actually get their win over the American.

I might be rooting for Taylor again, though he might let America down... Again...

Basically. The name disappears for a couple months then comes back to disappear for another couple months. Too bad he wasn't this popular off NSB. He'd have been a superstar.

Yeah, because ppl will forget the good/great fighters on Calz resume and Calz's record title defenses and that Calz beat 8-9 former-world champions...
