    Welterweight contender Gor Yeritsyan's circuitous journey to fighting Saturday for the first time since suffering his first career loss was hit with several unforeseen circumstances. The Freddie Roach-trained fighter's original opponent, Mylik Birdsong, was tragically killed in front of his mother's house during a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles on September 30.
