Guarantee he has watched Crocodile Dundee 1 and 2 already. Maybe even the atrocious third one. That was a helluva whipping.

It's very tough to come back from such a hard loss, but I hope he can.

Tszyu took a worse beating than Errol Spence did in his car crash (or was that 2 car crashes that Spence had?).

The beating Spence got from Crawford might be equal to the one Murtz handed Tim.

Tszyu and Spence should fight to see who's more damaged. I suspect Tszyu will KO Spence.

Exactly! Sports commentators use parallelism all the time....it's not about comparing a great to a non-great but finding those parallels. Al Bernstein is one of the BEST at parallels. Whether it is a good fighter or a superb fighter or a great fighter, many across those realm's have come back from a devastating loss and succeeded. We'll see what Tyzu will learn and if he can adjust. But yeah, you are right about what you said.

I think we need to add context when we say Tszyu has lost two fights in a row.

Fundora caught a lucky break in their fight and it was still a narrow split decision.

Also, Murtazaliev (sp) is obviously a world champion for a reason and he fought a great fight.

I’m actually rooting for Tim Tszyu to rebound from his losses after seeing so many people kick him while he’s down

I believe that Tim’s response to Turki comes from Al Haymon who doesn’t seem to be inclined to only work with Turki on a case by case basis only.

Tim needs to do some serious soul searching and ask these questions:
                  1. Is he willing to make changes to his current team and bring in a coach who can work with him on defense where his straight-up style and lack of head movement and lateral movement is pretty non-existent?

                  2. Is Tim willing to rehabilitate himself and take fights that enable him to put into practice skills where he’s not a face first fighter like Freddie Roach?

Any talk of Tim fighting the top dogs in his division is not advisable IMO. Tim needs to put his ego in check and focus on enhancing his limited one dimensional skill set.

Tim’s warrior spirit is a big plus when he can execute a strategic game plan with a Plan B and C as a backup.

Look Arturo Gatti and Mickey Ward were also warriors with the right opponents, plus both could box. However, that warrior spirit while valuable is not paying dividends for him with the top fighters in his division. Maybe Tim has already reached his ceiling. If he stays with the same team who I believe ate failing him, expect the same results. and a sudden end to his once promising career. I also think having his father involved as part of his team would be a plus.

Again, is it possible that Tim has already reached his ceiling and like Gatti and Ward, he can be quite entertaining and have a bright future as long as he’s matched with B level opponents who are not big punchers where he can shine? The Gatti/Ward warrior, with its limitations, is still a big draw in boxing and quite entertaining.
