
In full training for his fight against Filipino Manny Pacquiao, the Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto did not fail early and run to see the sunrise in Tampa, Florida.
El Nuevo Dia shared one of those races that gave the WBO welterweight king and accompanied him in the distance.

THE RACE
Every morning at 5:30 a.m. Cotto made his morning run. On the road sometimes and other ramp. Has routines for time-continuous run-about an hour and ten minutes interval, as measured by the meter. It can run up to 5,000 meters in a day. In some routines rehearsed movements used in the ring. For this fight is looking more explosiveness and speed. The race will continue until the day before weighing and intensity may vary depending upon how the weight of Cotto in those days.
THE GYM
Like racing, Cotto is going to the gym Monday through Saturday. Monday, Wednesday and Friday sparring and Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays footwork. Warming up takes about 30 minutes but may be longer when there is no sparring. Cotto takes 60 rounds of sparring and is expected to reach 125. Sparring will be maintained until 6 November. The sparring is being made in a square 24x24, the largest used in boxing, anticipating that the Nov. 14 in Las Vegas there is a 'ring' and the Filipino great Manny Pacquiao will use his speed to get around.
