I'm looking forward to this card , we already know that there's going to be plenty of action. I hope that Vaquero is over whatever was wrong with him in his last fight , I thought that he was drunk or something he was so bad.

Mexico's p4p caliber fighters for the last decade are if not were only Canelo Alvarez and Juan Francisco Estrada which is a bit disappointing. Considering they are now in the downslide.

There is entertaining fighters like Zurdo, and Espinoza who attained titles recently, with possibly Ayala, Nunez becoming WBA champ or Zepeda grabbing a belt. But none of those guys are exactly unbeatable with Espinoza being a unknown quantity with just a few top level fights.

Upcoming talents to watch out for:

Jose Chapulin Salas (118), quite talented upcoming fighter that uses active footwork, fights on the backfoot and throws long range combinations, he spars with Naoya Inoue and other elite fighters fairly often, at age 22 he is going to fight his former opponent Emmanuel Rodriguez whose a crafted rugged veteran who was a champion not that long ago.

If Eduardo Nunez is referred as a mini Beterbiev jokingly, then he is a mini Bivol.



Gael Cabrera (118) debuting from a improved amateur system with 200+ fights fighting foreign fighters in Europe and Asia, Cabrera is also heavy handed having big streak of KOs despite the amateur boxers using safer equipment in three rounds matches.



Ari & Andrey Bonilla Brothers at (115-118), similar background as Cabrera and Verde, they both have 130-150+ amateur fights, though they weren't chosen for the Olympics like they aimed for. They debuted recently.



Marco Verde (154-160) first silver medalist in the Olympics post the 2000s, pretty close on winning the golden medal against a Uzbek who ended up worse for wear between the two.



Emiliano "Popeye" Aguillon (160) a 19 year old boxer who upset a top 15 ranked middleweight in Aaron Silva.



Yair "Manotas" Gallardo (175) a pro Mexican fighter that was raised in Puerto Rico, he trains in one of the Miguel Cotto's gyms along with Oscar Collazo.
