Who has a better chance in a rematch, Bivol or Fury?

They both lost very competitive fights.

I think Fury has a better chance to win a rematch. Usyk didn`t like what he felt in the middle rounds. If Fury can come in a little better shape, he maybe does enough to get a win. Fury`s size and bigger reach will always be a problem for Usyk.

I am not sure what can Bivol do better. Artur`s body shots will find him again. He must box more and run across the ring less, but he risks getting stopped doing that. If he plans stealing rounds doing nothing, it won`t work.

      Probably Fury.

Fury schooled Usyk for those middle rounds. As I was watching it there were times when it looked like he might stop Usyk at the rate he was landing. Plus he might also try to run over Usyk and fight in close the same way he fought Wilder in their late fights, atleast its an option of a different strategy.

Bivol, well Beter can always get older. I think his options to adjust or do something different in the rematch are more limited than Fury and I also didnt see any rounds where he really dominated Beter to the same extent. He has had 1 KO in his last 11 fights so a KO is pretty much out the question where as Fury always has a chance at a KO as a heavyweight.

Bivol will have to fight largely the same fight, trying to control the distance but he will have to let his hands go a bit more and throw more than 423 punches, the problem is the more he throws the more openings he gives Beterbiev. He could work on his conditioning but historically he has well above average conditioning, there is a reason he tired and a reason he didnt throw as much as thats because of what beterbiev was doing.

        Biv
        He barely lost

Bivol needs different judges. Fury actually needs to fight a different fight and he's capable of doing that. It's pretty equal but I'd be more confident putting money on Bivol than Fury.

I think Bivol did everything perfectin his fight.
I dont think Fury did everything perfect in his fight.
So if Fury fights HIS perfect fight. He will beat Usyk but Im not so sure he will do that.

That is a good way to put it. Bivol is more consistent than Fury. We dont know what Fury will show up. Fury is an alocholic and has huge weight fluctuations.

Bivol did fight pretty much perfect the only thing he can really do is throw more and that gives beter more opportunities.

I agree id of liked to see Bivol throw more but i believe he couldn't cause he was conserving his energy cause he was either tired, hurt or both.
Beter. Is an animal that will throw off anyones normal game. I think Beter. Made the mistake of not going to the body enough. Something he’ll try and do in their second fight.
I just see an older man in him now. Bivol should be able to out work him in the second. Its still a damn tuff fight for Bivol. Hope he takes a year off. That fight took 3 years off of his life.

I think Biv still has the confidence of an undefeated fighter and we see the start of Biv’s prime

The lost will make Biv box like a pro

Box to win every minute of every round. The final rounds are the important rounds.

Get rid of this amateur boxing tactic: points AND CHILL. Stop trusting the judges to score round to round

In fight 1 the judges liked Bet’s effective aggression over Biv’s clean punching that he didn’t do enough of. In fight 2 Biv must do more clean punching and less biking

Missed punches are effective aggression when they shut down the opponent’s offense. The defender MUST counter

In a post fight interview Biv mentioned move more. I thought it was a ****** idea at first. Maybe language barrier. More movement is okay if it results in Bet missing outright. Bad if Bet gets more partially landed or blocked shots

Biv box like Manny Pacq in the Cotto fight. Use lateral pivots after combos and less lateral biking

Neither can really fight inside nor spoil with clinches

Biv has the foot and hand speed advantage so use it

Stand his ground with bursts of 3-4 punch combos *but dont get greedy

*in round 7 there was a sequence where Biv left hook hurt Bet, backed him up onto the ropes, got greedy with more combos, and ate a counter right that hurt Biv.

then Biv backed off his momentum from hurting Bet gone
