Comments Thread For: For rematch with Robson Conceicao, O'Shaquie Foster plans to 'ramp it up'

O'Shaquie Foster feels like he didn't deserve to lose his WBC world title to Robson Conceicao in July, a split decision defeat that was derided and decried by many afterward as a robbery. That doesn't mean he'll approach their rematch the same way.

You won the first fight, but the judges didn't give your the decision.
You're going to have to ramp it up, bring the smoke, forget about putting on a show, be the show stopper.
In other words you've got to knock Conceicao out, or you'll run the risk of losing another decision.
In which case you might become a stepping stone for others on their way up the ranks to a title fight.

He has to ramp it up. I am glad he is finally saying that instead of what they used to say (it was a shut out, he didn't touch me, I won). There is finally some common sense in his camp. If he does what he says, he will win. Robson won the first fight on the scorecards because he was aggressive, walking forward and throwing a lot of shots.
