  • The Post fight interviews pretty much sum up both Beterbiev and Bivol

Beterbiev was honest to a fault. Didn’t shy away from criticising himself. Despite knowing that the result may already be controversial.

Bivol did not make a single excuse. Not even a statement disguised as an excuse. Even though it was obvious he was hurt from the decision.

Beterbiev said it wasn't a difficult fight, just awkward – and that he wasn't fighting very well. Whereas in reality it was because he was fighting another elite light-heavy. He did say he was skilled though so that is giving some good props.

I was one of the few who said Bet has a higher chance of getting a decision than winning by stoppage

Big punchers don't stop every opponent once they fight the very best

good times with dumbo casuals who thought Bet is a more gifted KO puncher than Ray Robinson

I thought beterbiev would lose, and he won, even if controversially.
so he did better than I predicted.
        So well done
