While Jan Paul Rivera won easily on the score cards, he took his fair share of punches during the fight.
His face even looked a bit more swollen than Andy Beltran's face, who by the way turned to be a good/tough learning experience for Rivera.
The Omar Rosario vs Elijah Flores fight was the most competitive fight of the card, it really could've been scored a draw that's how close it was.
Alexis Chapparo has to be matched up with stiffer competition then the weak opposition he's being fed so far in his young career!
Overall the fights were were competitive, and the hometown fighters had to work hard to earn their wins on this night.

He's been on a number of recent fight cards. Look him up. If you follow boxing, you will have seen him fight 3-4 times. He is a solid prospect and if Tim Bradley had followed something other than ESPN, he would have called him one of his blue chip prospects.

Good fight. Rivera impressed me with his handspeed and excellent jab. He doesn't have much power , or Beltran has a great chin. I'd like to see Rivera work the body more but overall I think that he's a pretty good prospect and one to keep an eye out for. I enjoyed the fight and wouldn't mind seeing either guy again. Both of them will beat a lot of guys .
The Chaparro kid has good hands and good power. He got hit more tan he should have but that's what happens in a fight sometimes. He's got good size for 160 and power. I'd definitely watch him fight again.
The Rosario / Flores fight was pretty good. I think that Flores probably learned a lot about using his natural advantages and not fighting the other guys fight last night.
I enjoyed the fights except for the Heavyweight fight , that one was lame. Both of those guys are going to be food for anyone decent.
