well jai hasnt gone to heavyweight and i dont see what he has done that is better than Tua
he looks quick and atheletic against bums. against geriatric Briedis he looked pretty ordinary
I was asking the pro Polynesian for his take, and essentially fighters weighing in at 200 pounds enter the ring around 220 so to an old man like me they are heavyweights
And to me personally I rate Tua much higher than the current crop of world class Polynesian fighters
If your defense wasn’t on point it was probably going to be a short night for you against Tua, thus making him special in my book
I haven’t seen enough of Jai to deem him as special yet but my initial impression is he isn’t in the rarified air

You have to remember that Usyk had a very hard time against Breidis and only just won by a narrow margin. Usyk is on record saying that those rounds that he fought against Breidis were the hardest in his professional career. So Jai has to be good. How good? We will see when he fights the other champions at 200 lbs.
