This wouldn't be an issue at all if Fundora was a top rank fighter. Spence would get a top 5 ranking in a heartbeat, maybe even be made mandatory. We've seen this story before: a top rank/Warren fighter will eventually fight for the vacant WBO title against an obscure fighter from South America.

you really think Spence should be ranked? He's never fought at 154. He got pummeled in his last fight. Hasn't fought in over a year. Doesn't have a trainer. When would he even be ready to fight? Has anybody heard from him?
