Alot of Floyd PPV with Marquez had to do with the Teacate rebate. I have never heard of the Teacate rebate untill Golden Boy Promotion brought it up. I've recently learn that the rebate worked on some of the past PPV but this was the first time i've ever heard of it.

Marketing is one of the keys to success. When you are willing to spend money in marketing an event, you get a good turnover. The Tecate rebate was part of marketing, for Tecate and for the fight.

Top Rank should do the same or similar for the Pac-Cotto fight to make sure that it does the same numbers as the JMM-Floyd fight. If the PPV number are the same, Arum and Pac will have a strong negotiating stand.

Numbers don't lie, so if Pac-Cotto does less numbers then Schaefer has a point.
