Regardless of Inoue if Ball actually manages to get the inactive as hell Vargas back in the ring and get the belt off him that alone deserves huge praise at this point given the absolute lack of 126 beltholders willing to unify these days,..

That being said if not a rematch with Ball then Vargas needs to friggin either fight Figueroa or friggin get stripped and retire, he's been winless for over two years since he got the belt via SD.

Ball got away with pushing and then punching Vargas on the way down, so let's not get too carried away. Vargas boxed his ears off.

Based on his size and motor he reminds me a little bit of a Dwight Quiawii.

Ball looked good. Did his thing & did not stop swinging. On the other hand Rios looked like a punching bag that swung back once in a while. Rios absorbed a lot of punishment & Ball had to really work to get that stoppage. Note that Rios has been stopped 3 times before facing Ball.
Now against Brandon Figueroa, Robeisy Ramirez & "Divino" Espinoza he won't look as dominant, but more than likely they'll be great fights. & there's also good chance he could loose against those mentioned.
              He should rematch Rey Vargas.

You must have watched a different fight than virtually everyone else on the planet , or you're Rios brother.

Yes Nick , rid us of the boring Vargas , then try to unify. I don't like his chances against Espinoza though.

We can all agree Ball is one gutsy Sob and a guaranteed action fighter but lets face it Naoya is going to have a target practice session with him, there is a significant gap in boxing technique, even Rey Vargas ugly ass could beat him in rematch as long as he makes the necessary adjustments imo.
