  • Artur-Bivol and comparing canelo is just ....

    Very ******.

We have an injured old Artur yet Clenelo could not stand 4 rounds with him.
Some people keep bringing up the Bivol-Clenelo fight to compare it to Artu, pretty s t u p I d if you ask me.

Absolutely 2 different fighters, one is a Monster and Clenelo is a B+ f u c k who has conned lots of chicken brained people.

Alvarez Bet would be a good fight

Alvarez has the faster explosive hands and better defense

he’s more likely to score a one punch ko and come from behind win

Bet is the better finisher and jabber

Canelo Alvarez vs Dimtri Bivol is stylistically the closest match up 'That Bivol has fought in, that does have a pass over effect on this fight'.

Dimtri Bivol is not superior to Canelo Alvarez in every single area of his game 'Alvarez has a superior inside game, and defense while on attack. Alvarez could of made the fight way more competitive, if he had greater endurance. Which would of enabled him to force Bivol to fight in area's, where he is not the dominant fighter'.

Arthur Beterbiev as a fighter 'His best attributes in this match up vs Dimtri Bivol. Are? His brute strength, endurance, and punching power. Those are the area's of his game, where throughout his career he has shown that he is superior to Bivol. Therefor Beterbiev tactically to win this fight, it appears that he has to execute similar tactics that Canelo Alvarez tried to use vs Bivol'.

Canelo Alvarez was not knocked down, or at any point in the fight vs Bivol 'On the verge of being stopped. Alvarez lost the fight, due to not really have the gears and endurance to force the fight into his domain'. It was a great performance by Bivol, but really? He fought a very straight forward and fundamentally basic fight. Endurance, movement, and gears won him the fight vs Canelo Alvarez'.

Note: Arthur Beterbiev has always forced his opponents to fight in his domain 'At some point in his fights, Beterbiev has turn all of his fights in his genre'.

But in the opposing corner Dimtri Bivol has this same ability, he has always forced his opponent's to fight in his domain 'Ether by negating their tactics, and avoiding fighting in area's where they can use their best attributes to great effect'.

That is why this fight, is a clash stylistically of peak boxing archetypes 'At least within this boxing era'. Both fighters are stylistically diametric, which ever fighter wins? Will be the fighter who is able to execute their style the most effectively'.

Past historical boxing fights, such as Muhamad Ali vs Joe Frazier, or Jake LaMotta vs Sugar Ray Robinson 'Those fights, were a clash of peak boxing archetypes. One fighter was renowned for their skill for skill boxing, and the other fighter for their pressure fighting skills. Although fighters at this level of boxing, are all complete fighters there is always that one area where they specifically excel'.

It is a easy pick to back Dimtri Bivol to win this fight, historically most of the time? People will back the fighter, who appears to have a superior mid to long range game combined with skills. The share brutality and violent effect of Beterbiev's style may be more attractive to certain boxing fans on the surface, but? When those diametric styles have clashed throughout history peak for peak, usually the overall superior boxer wins'.

But sometimes that does not happen? When Joe Frazier fought Muhammad Ali for the first time, and Jake LaMotta was able to beat Sugar Ray Robinson once out of a total of six fights.

To conclude: On October 12th 2024, will Arthur Betebiev just like Joe Frazier and Jake LaMotta be able to beat a diametrically opposing style? That is just as dominant as his own style, if a opponent is unable to negate it's tactical domain'.

Overall it is a easy pick to back Dimtri Bivol to win. But there may come a point in the fight, where Arthur Beterbiev's power, brute strength combined with his own fundamental skill and endurance is able to negate and force Dimtri Bivol beyond his dominant fighting zone. I actually think Beterbiev may anticipate a fight, where is not tactically in position to dominate but? As the rounds go by, there could be a impending doom and sense of peril for Dimtri Bivol. In my opinion, if Beterbiev is in solid form equal or greater than his recent fights ? Then Bivol needs to do more than just play a semi-violent game of tick, he needs to hinder Beterbiev with his own power at some point.

Tactically I can envision a way for both fighters to win this fight. This is most likely a closer fight to call than Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Uysk I 'By far actually, the media always try and make out that certain titles fights are 50/50 fights. But in recent years, I would say this the closest to a 50/50 fight the sport of boxing has seen from a tactical perspective. Both fighters have the attributes to beat each other, potentially they are both each other most stylistically challenging fights' etc.

Bet is a better back foot boxer with a better jab than Alvarez

Bet will lure your a$$ into counter traps. He uses this tactic on sluggers who can’t land their jabs to effectively setup shots

But Alvarez is better defensively than Beter

Biv-Alvarez was kind of boring as both have excellent defense and would only occasionally land flush

Is there a need to compare the two? Bivol is a pure boxer, Canelo is a counter puncher and Beterbiev is a pressure fighter.

Beterviev might not have the same elite defensive skills as Alvarez, but his superior ring cutting, punching power and active high guard will even the field. Atrittion also has never been a problem for him unlike Alvarez who always fought in the backfoot and utilized his timing to dodge/counter to recover.

                Beter is a buff guy

                a power pressure mauler boxer-puncher

How Biv reacts to being hurt will be key if he gets caught with a good shot

I’ve seen both’s legs go funny from punches

Bet has the faster recovery based on current evidence

but he has also been knocked down twice

Because Beterbiev opens himself up more but Bivol is about as safety first of a fighter there is. I'd be shocked if Bivol hurts Beterbiev.

Biv has power if he sits down on his straight right or cross

I think hurting Beterbiev would be a tactic rather than the strategy

fool Beterbiev into thinking he could get knocked out if he comes forward with impunity

make him think and pick him apart from afar

I’ll be surprised if Biv trades with Bet
