Bit silly and pointless you trying to tell Hearns could not make a defence in Australia without Aussie government money

I would like to see the Spaniard who got robbed against Lopez get a title shot. Catterall too. And Puello. Parro by UD. Hitchins looked shaky against Lemos.

This is a pretty good card full of up, and coming young undefeated prospects.
Plus a contender on the verge of a title shot, and a champion making his first title defense against a difficult opponent.
It also appears that the champion Paro is either trying to rub the former champions Subriel's loss in his face by returning to make his first defense in Subriel's backyard.
Either that or the promoter is setting the stage for their future rematch, I hope that it's latter, and not the former.
I definitely would love to see Liam Paro vs Subriel Matias in a celebrated rematch in Puerto Rico, or in Australia which is the champions backyard.
They would have to both win their next fights, and hopefully look good, if not spectacular in order to create more of a clamor to see them fight again.

sandor martin and puello will fight for the vacant wbc title. catterall will be the next mandatory if he defeats prograis.

"If he defeats Prograis"??? I'd be shocked if that fight is competitive. Catterall doesn't seem to want a title shot. He's been mandatory for awhile now.

Paro will test Hutchinson on neutral ground. He could have taken Hutch home and had all the trimmings, but Paro chose the hard way. Hutchinson is no slouch, hats off. Win lose or draw, Paro wants proof not privilage. Either he's the best anywhere or he's not the best at all.

What a weird place for this fight.

I am shocked. I though Paro's first defence was going to be in Australia. Eddie talked about either Kambosos or Haney as the two most likely names. Instead Paro is going back to Puerto Rico again? Something is wrong with the money. Perhaps as rudy suggested above he could not get the government money to make the purses work?

Paro was suggesting that all the big names pulled out of the possible match up. Sounds like Hitchins is willing to take short money and make the fight. I really do not understand what is going on and how this is the biggest money fight that Eddie could put together for Paro for his optional "free kick".

I just read the Channel 9 report in Australia and they are confused as hell as to why this is happening and why Paro is going back to Puerto Rico to fight and unknown contender. Even a rematch with Matias would make more sense money wise.
