Comments Thread For: Chris Billam-Smith promises to spoil Gilberto Ramirez's 'Latino Night' party

Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez and Chris "The Gentleman" Billam-Smith had a cordial introductory press conference on Wednesday at The Mayan to announce their cruiserweight title unification clash. Although friendly and pleasant, Ramirez (46-1, 30 KOs) and Billam-Smith (20-1, 13 KOs) both boasted big promises as they prepared to headline the Golden Boy Promotions "Latino Night" event on November 16 in Saudi Arabia.

Don't care who wins, get it over and done with. Worsecase scenario is a draw. The winner needs to face Opetaia after he disposes of Massey and his mandatory,

Are you even a boxing fan? What's to not like about a unification fight?

The winner will likely face Opetaia afterwards, in what will be a big fight at the weight class. The winner of that then moves on to heavyweight and could well get a title shot pretty quickly considering the current crop of heavyweights are on the way out and the belts likely to fracture pretty soon.

I think it's an exciting looking 12-18 months for the guys at the top of Cruiserweight.
