Have you seen the crowds at the Saudi shows ? They aren't there for the fights , they just have to show up to show support for the Prince and the Royal Family . It would make a lot more sense to put this where there are some latinos.

You almost can't go wrong with two latinos in a boxing ring . I'd be hard pressed to name five boring latino fighters in the last fifty years . I get that part.

One connection I know of is that belly dancing (think Egypt) is big in Colombia and maybe elsewhere in L.America. A Colombian ex of mine is still getting better at it many years in [no, it's not Shakira]
