Thanks for your comment. Always open to hearing differeing opinions. What direction would you have wanted Tank to go after Lomachenko pulled out of negotiations (July 20), and after Stevenson-Zepeda was initially announced (July 30). Would a rematch with Pitbull Cruz have been OK in your eyes at that point?

You have pathetic expectations. Any real boxing fan knows that fight is crap.
casuals love the fight though.
Id be happy if tank just fought for another belt but he’s even scared to do that.
He wont even fight Denys. Who hits softer than pillow hands Shakur. I think hes allergic to pillows.

One poster suggested that if good matchups are not available at 135 lbs, he could face Teofimo Lopez or Devin Haney. They both want the Tank money. He has ventured into 140 lbs waters for Barios - why not again for a good, competitive fight? Tank is a draw card and a money man. He can entice many, many boxers to fight him for a decent chunk of change, but he is not doing it. So, yes, we have every reason to blame him for these bad match ups. He is an incredible talent and exciting to watch, but he always chooses the path of least resistance.Comment

I am not looking at one fight. I am simply saying this same thing happens every time, therefore it is not an exception - it is a pattern of behaviour. There is always a reason, an excuse why he is not fighting anyone who is going to be competitive.

(I also know a lot of people would've been criticizing Tank if he took on Haney only now after Haney's loss to Ryan.)
Hope you get the fights you want in 2025!

We already know Davis vs Roach is crap. Davis vs Loma was going to be one of the top fights of the year with 2 of the top Lightweights so don't think you would have gotten anyone to call a Davis vs Loma fight crap. My expectations are top lightweights fighting each other which is not pathetic expectations.....but you are sounding more pathetic by the minute.Comment

I like Tanks skills and rate him as a fighter but its obvious he's just a show pony. They just match him with run of the mill B+ fighters and sell off the fact he might knock them tf out. Its just a cheap version of the young Iron Mike when he was steam rolling cab drivers as a kid because it didn't matter who he was fighting it was about the violent knockout they come to see.
Tank won't fight any of the best until PBC consider him ready to cash inComment
