    Devin Haney on Friday filed a lawsuit against Ryan Garcia alleging battery, fraud and unjust enrichment while also naming Garcia's promoter, Golden Boy Promotions, in the lawsuit demanding a full review and adjustment of accounting for their controversial bout that now stands as a no-contest. In the April 20 fight against WBC 140-pound champion Haney, Garcia came in overweight, then proceeded to stunningly batter Haney with three knockdowns and prevail on the scorecards.

                  The Haneys may be perceived as soft with this legal move but given Garcias actions and the fact you can get sued in the US for pretty much anything they might have a case here going forward so Cryan better hire top notch counseling. He'll def will need it to get off this hot mess.

                              Kind of torn on this. On one side it seems like a bytch move. Just move on and kick his ass in a rematch.
                              On the other side, boxing is a sport where you risk your life and it’s obvious that Ryan was juiced up, purposely didn’t make weight and based on his social media antics, he’s taken no accountability. So running the little pr1ck into the ground legally seems well deserved.

                                  Just a money grab. After all the song and dance about how bad Garcia and Golden Boy are, likening them to the Devil himself, they will accept the return bout - as long as the money is right. GTFOH.

                                  He realized he cannot make the money with Sandor Martin, he probably also realized he cannot get what he wants with Liam Paro, so this is the next best thing - go to where the money is and ask for some more.
