The man got knocked out twice his whole career. I dont get the logic.
Its HOW you keep fighting when rising from the canvas after getting dropped that counts.

Joshua's legs were never under him from the round 1 knockdown right through to the faceplanting round 5 breakdance routine.

You wanna see how to take a big shot, get up and fight for the win. Rewatch Parker v Whyte or Parker v Zhang.

In my opinion, the biggest problem will be his confidence. The problem isn't his chin per se, although he does have horrible recovery time

After the Wlad fight he become much more cautious, even more so after Ruiz but he's never been ironed out like against Dunois.

I reckon that's this will be the tipping point that makes him completely gun shy, if we look what happened after the other fights he was down or stopped. The pattern suggests he will struggle to pull the trigger more and more.

Once he's gun shy, what do you really have left? A basic boxer that won't throw his power shots. Like Wilder really, although AJ is fundamentally a bit better but Wilder more unpredictable but the point stands: Take their power away due to being gun shy and they become very beatable by anyone half decent.

Josh will need to get you out before you get him out. He needs to punch and then hold wlad style

In heavyweight boxing anything is possible, so I would be ambivalent to write off anyone's chances.

If he can commit to throwing his hands and being defensively responsible (his defence was non-existent on Saturday) then he actually has a chance.

Not having the pressure of being the favourite weighing on him may help him in a rematch.

Saying that, seeing how tentative AJ was in fights after losing to Ruiz the first time and then the two losses to Usyk makes me think that AJ won't throw his hands the way he will need to in a rematch. I've never been convinced by AJ as a backfoot fighter, and DDD will be encouraged more especially from the first outing so I would bet on him winning a rematch but it would not shock me to see AJ get the job done.

The last thing would be for AJ, do not try to finish your opponent unless you know they are hurt badly, as it now has ended badly for him twice.

Well that's exactly what AJ said - he got caught by a shot and hurt. That wouldn't make the news though. That's what happens to every fighter in sparring at some point.

Worth remembering there is video footage of Whyte knocking AJ down and beating him in the amateurs - but AJ showed no fear in their pro fight. But apparently AJ was scared in this one because in 300 rounds Dubois hurt him once....

Dubois clearly confirmed in early interviews he had knocked AJ down. I have seen one. (After Dubois started his career). Then later on apparently "AJ was stretchered out of the ring"

As for "not going in the kill". Doesn't make sense - in what world *would* Dubois go in for the kill? That's just not what you do in sparring. Plus he probably wouldn't get much more sparring from AJ and other boxers if he did. I assume the sparring was at Team GB too
