  • Would Alvarez Beat Everyone On Beterbiev’s Record

    notable fights would be

    Alvarez-Gvozdyk
    Alvarez-Joe Smith Jr
    Alvarez-Yarde

A pro-Beter point is that he has beaten the better light heavies and therefore higher level

    but

Alvarez is the only great fighter on Bivol and Beter’s combined resumes

    At 175? I don’t think so.

Prime Gvozdyk might beat Canelo. Not sure of it, but his long straight shots, lots of movement, never over-committing to his punches would work well. Some of the others are very good fighters and might pull it off but Gvozdyk is the only one I'd give more than 30% chance.

my opinion of Gvozdyk went up big after his performance in the Benavidez fight

Alvarez beat only shot Kovalev at 175. Lets not give him any fantasy wins at 175.

Why do we have the fangirls of Clenelo coming in with al of these ****** posts?

            I mean, I still remember:

First Bivol, then Beterbiev, then Usyk.... FU Buch of conned I di ots.

Prime Gvozdyk beats him easily. Also, Marcus Browne is a awful style matchup for Canelo.

JSJ is limited, but powerful as hell...and Canelo looked tentative against Berlanga

And now they are back to claiming he stops Beterbiev, Bivol was just a bad style matchup.

                  not quite

my favorite style fighters who can win at range and dance

Alvarez is a midrange and inside

Great fighter but far from being my fav

175 IS NOT his weight class.
