Comments Thread For: Daniel Dubois next fight: He welcomes Anthony Joshua rematch but also targets winner of Oleksandr Usyk-Tyson Fury

Daniel Dubois would welcome a rematch with Anthony Joshua, the man he conquered so emphatically on Saturday night, but he'll be watching closely on December 21st when Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury meet in a rematch.

It would be scary if Dubois could do a lot better.

I get the feeling we see Usyk-Fury III. Tyson Fury probably wins the rematch, and if he does that’s the next logical fight.

Dubois vs AJ 2 is still worthwhile IMHO. There is a version of it where AJ lands the first big shot and it falls apart the other way- I think it's just how they match up. Gunslinger kind of fight.
Dubois' youth is much bigger factor in my mind now though after having seen how that all played out.

Joshua did absolutely nothing to warrant a rematch. Even when he tried to open up at the end we saw the result .After the initial bravado of shouting for a rematch , Joshua will know there was nothing to give him any sort of confidence that the result could be any different other than quicker for the more durable , more powerful and younger guy.

All I care about is Usyk-Fury 2. Every other HW can sit off to the side while the Big Dogs rumble. DuBois looked good and should get his props for beating the PED cheat (was so happy he did), the inactive Hrgovic, and then guy who also got spanked by the guy who spanked DuBois.

Honestly I think Parker has earned more of a shot at the Usyk-Fury winner than DuBois or any other HW. Too bad boxing does not work well enough to give who is deserving nice things.

There’s no reward for Dubois in a rematch, it’s all risk no reward so he should stay away from a rematch with AJ.

The reward is he doesn't get beaten by Fury or Usyk. Plus all the money too

I'm sure AJ has already convinced himself, he can fix all the mistakes he made. It's a good attitude to have. I think he still loses to Dubois but AJ still has a chance. We know Dubois can be hurt. Lerena put him down 3 times in the first round

From this point on, nobody stops Dubois for years to come. His era has come.
