He is de facto retired. He has made a ton of money so assuming he was not spending it like Mike Tyson, he should not need to fight again. If he decided to fight again it would be virtually coming back from retirement and very few of those end up with a happy ending.

If he is not too damaged, he may as well try it out at middleweight.

If he has more than enough money, maybe don't bother, or have one more fight to go out on a win.

are there any trainers jumping to work with Spence? Not without an ironclad contract, I bet.

Before his accident, Errol Spence was a very dangerous man. He was always "basic", as people like to say, but his punch resistance, speed, timing and reflexes were world class. But alcohol, and the accident took something from him in all areas. He was still excellent compared to most, so his slippage wasn't noticeable to many. It took someone of Bud's caliber to close the curtain on Errol. He has made a lot of money, and the hunger may not be there anymore, as well as the speed, reflexes and timing he'll need to compete, especially at a higher weight class. His stamina won't be the same, either. And his punch resistance isn't the same anymore, because he has to have some neurological damage from that accident. Bud added to the damage that was already there. Plus he's had eye surgery. The man has been through a lot. I'll always remember Errol for his prime. He was an amazing fighter indeed

Yea Spence, go ahead and take the advice of someone who's clearly not fit to fight...who's about to fight Jake Paul, lol. Yea that advice is coming from a good place.

Is there a lot of guys who are going to walk through these mma champions like he has.
Well he not a bad boxer but he basically chooses people he will 90% beat but who unthinking people will beat him.

Soon as Alex Pereira was mentioned by Jake as a possible opponent. People started saying "OH Jake is in trouble now". Just as they have with every opponent! Easy money!

Spence simply can't pull that basic come forward straight up and down BS with bigger more skillful boxers at higher weight classes that should be common sense to anyone that knows boxing.
