6 ft 1 Featherweight Rafael Espinoza Is The Only One Who Can Beat Naoya

This freakishly tall featherweight can jab to keep Naoya at the end of his 74” reach all night

If Inoue lands on Espinoza, it’s over. There’s no coming back. He isn’t Ramirez where he will get tired late in the fight. He keeps the steam on his punches and has world class skill. I like Espinoza, but he isn’t in Inoue’s class. It is a good fight to see I do admit.

It isn’t just Mexicans with chin and endurance, lmao. And this is Inoue power he’d be taking, not Robeisy power. And Robeisy pretty much had him out.

          Naoya overhand can get him

Rafael would need to fight tall rather than Paul Williams in there

but Mexican culture mandates that he mixes it up

          Intriguing match David VS Goliath

          a 5 ft 5.5 VS a 6 ft 1

Naoya a murderous bodypuncher and would be cracking Raf all night downstairs

Sure Rafael has got a chance like all the other 126 boys. It's another weight class higher and giving away 8 inches in height.

Inoue would be chopping that body like a lumberjack. 6'1 126lbs gotta be drained like a MF.

thats one weight class up and hes probably cutting a lot of weight, so he is a lot bigger than him.
Naoya still in his prime though he would probably take him out. problem with a big lanky body is its also a big target. and its easier to punch up than punch down. neither is used to fighting a guy of the others size. A simple jab isnt going to be enough to just keep Naoya outside at distance all night. there are all kinds of ways to get around a jab.

guys with shorter arms who close distance well are pacquaio, hatton, tank and tyson

Bivol another guy without long arms who’s good at getting into his range

Bivol regularly outboxes taller rangier guys

Bivol jab and footwork is that damn good

he is a small light heavy

Won't know till it happens, because he is the fan favorite, people are making arguments on how Naoya will find a way to beat Espinoza, stating he will fold to the power as he shown to be vulnerable against Ramirez, or how he struggles to cut weight despite that he hasn't failed missing weight at any fight yet.

Robeisy is the complete package himself in terms of skill and ability while actually physically belonging at 126. Won't say Espinoza is unbeatable, but feel like people don't realize how quite more difficult to handle these two featherweight champions will be, having less deficiencies than let's say Fulton's lack of power or Nery's porous defense while having a definite size advantage over Naoya Inoue.

it be quite interesting if these fights happen in the future and Inoue should be given plenty credit if happens to win after moving up 5 divisions, but I wouldn't say he be able perform the same way he has done in the past until he actually does it at 126.
