Comments Thread For: Josh Warrington pondering his future following loss to Anthony Cacae

Josh Warrington's gloves remained in the center of the ring long after he and Anthony Cacace had begun the trek back to the dressing rooms at Wembley Stadium.

It looked like he retired when he left his gloves in the ring. He must have changed his mind. I hope that it wasn't changed for him.

Tbh I didn't think he looked to bad in there against Cacace who is a massive 130lb fighter who was definitely 145lbs in the ring on the night.. he wont get a world title shot in the near future but i think Warrington going to the states and fighting somebody like Shu Shu Carrington could be something cus he's a guy who's said he's always wanted to fight in America and that's what's eluded him in his career and he's better at 126lbs aswell

I thought he still has great conditioning and volume and less with the headbutting stuff but if you throw you gloves on the canvas and call it quits, you are done. Can't put on that pageantry show with gloves on the ground and then ponder about returning! He should have kept the gloves off the ground and made a decision later.
