Joshua really doesn't have that much wear on his body! He's FIVE years behind Fury and Wilder in his career and only the Ruiz and Dubois fights were proper damaging fights for him. And in Ruiz he got pulled out by the ref early (or quit as some people here think)
Terrence seems to be trying to look wise after the fight here. I don't remember him saying any of this stuff beforehand

AJ is done. When you get smashed like that by a basic fighter who's a 5:1 underdog, the road back is bleak and impossible. Fans calling for a pointless Wilder fight need their brains inspected. What value has that fight now?
Bud may as well plot his next move and not sit on the couch until July again because he's not getting the Canelo fight ~ it's not happening. But it's nice to visualize a nice Canelo retirement check, so I understand his stubbornness.

But He hops around from trainer to trainer too damned much. And some trainers can't spell boxing. They hold the pads and when its fight time, they say, "Now go get him", and push the guy out from the corner. But when its time for instruction, they don't know sh...t. They're more motivational than they are teacher. AJ is lost without a good trainer, because he tries hard to listen to the trainer and do what he is asked. So if he gets poor instruction, that's what he'll do.

His chin and legs are gone. I was shocked following the fight online seeing a basic fighter like Dubois use him like a yo-yo. Dubois rebounded from the Joyce and Usyk losses because he's still young. AJ has been in major fights for almost 10
Basics win fights. That's what made him so dangerous. He was in shape and he was hungry. He had all his tools and he had a jab and it was pumping hard in AJ's face all night (No Diddy).
He was aggressive, confident and determined. Those are intangibles that matter more than being flashy or stylish. Mentally he was ready for a dogfight. A mean dog is pretty basic. you already know what he's going to do-- rush you, close the distance and bite whatever he can get his mouth on. But he's super in shape, aggressive, fearless, confident, and determined. And because of those qualities, you are usually going to take the loss
