That’s awesome if true. Take the round off, then step on gas and go for it. That was a fun fight. I was guessing he took the round of to get a needed breather n he came out thumping the next round. Good back n forth

Great fight as expected ,both guys put on a show ,bazinyan is good for the SMW division , some serious match making can be done rn at 168. Its wild

I'm not saying Mungo is the best at anything, he eats leather like popcorn, but most of Canelos victims tried to be cute. This guy pushes the issue.

Mungia and benavidez is a 50/50 fight. Mungia has a higher work rate and probably heavier hands. Guarantee you Caleb plant wouldn't last 7 rounds with Mungia. David also doesn't have the power to keep Mungia at bay like canelo did. Mungia would be pushing David back all fight and David is trash fighting backwards. David would really have to utilize his reach and jab. Another major issue is that David is a sitting suck when his opponents throw at him. Mungia would be able to rack on points off activity alone. This fight could go either way.

Yes that is why Mungia ducked him twice even when offered 50/50 split. Benavidez runs over Mungia, and Plant out classes him and maybe stops him. Benavidez won't have the power to keep mungia at bay is laughable, he would be walking Mungia down. Mungia would be on the back fit from the opening bell like all Benavidez opponents. Sadly the fight won't happen because Mungia ducked.

Plant stopping Mungia. Now that's laughable. The same plant who almost got knocked out the ring by bum ass Trevor mcCumby. LMAO. Mungia didn't duck. Mungia wasn't even at 168 at the time. David was just trying to be a weight bully. David could have fought morell instead but I guess that's not a duck right. Just like it won't be a duck when he doesn't fight the winner of bivol vs beterbiev.

There's a reason he started his career at 175 then went down to 168. Because his power is above average at best. And gvodzyk proved that. David has never been a big puncher. He's not a bigger puncher than Mungia. And he's not a bigger puncher than berlanga. Demetrius Andrade was backing him up at times but you think he's gonna walk through Mungia. The way you guys overrate David is hilarious. Dude is going to get exposed big time once he actually fights somebody elite. He's a 175lb Errol Spence.

That was entertaining to watch because both guys are in the same level. Bazinyan doesn't move his head and didn't throw any body blows, Munguia was wide opened for them. Plus when he moved to Munguia's right Jaime consistently had to reset his feet.
