  • Comments Thread For: Daniel Dubois vs. Anthony Joshua is, for Matchroom and Queensberry, a case of Next Goal Wins

Regardless of the score, or the balance of play, it is inevitable. It is usually shouted with about a minute to go in the match and the implication, when it is called, is that everything that came before it, including even the score, is now effectively irrelevant.

Either way, winner takes on Fury next year for an all British, all belt fight

Battle of the losers, unfathomably fighting for Usyks belt after both have been beat soundly by him.

it's laughable that's what's considered "next goal wins", you're gonna have to make that make sense.

Oleksandr Uysk made the conscious decision to vacate his belts 'Uysk's behaviour is not so different to Rid**** Bowe's during the 90's. Rid**** Bowe vacated his WBC World Heavyweight Championship belt in order to avoid fighting Lennox Lewis'.

Tyson Fury's behaviours and antics did have a disruptive and negative effect upon Oleksandr Uysk's IBF title reign 'But Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Uysk I, that fight took place on May 18th 2024. Their rematch is scheduled for December 21st 2024'.

There is a 6 month period between May 18th and December 21st 2024 'If Oleksandr Uysk really wanted to? He could of done more in my opinion, to hold onto his IBF World Heavyweight titles. There was nothing stopping Oleksandr Uysk from defending his titles against his mandatory challenger'.

If people check Anthony Joshua's resume, you will learn that he has never vacated any World titles he has ever won 'This one statistics show, that Anthony Joshua has never avoided a fight. And as a Champion has always fought his mandatory challenger's, and taken on all comers'.

Nobody can make that claim for Tyson Fury, Oleksandr Uysk or even Deontay Wilder. At some point all of those fighters as Heavyweight Champions, have decided to vacate their belts or refuse to fight their mandatory challenger's for various reasons.

Boro, you need to stop letting your subjective dislike for Anthony Joshua get in the way of what is happening in the game. If you was a military general, you would lose many battles with this attitude.

I have already told you a long time ago, the trajectory of this competition between Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder, Oleksandr Uysk and Anthony Joshua. I specifically told you that, in a drawn out battle ? The competition will move back towards both Oleksandr Uysk and Anthony Joshua. This observation and theory of mine was stated long before Oleksandr Uysk had fought Tyson Fury, and look where we are now? Tyson Fury is no longer the WBC World Heavyweight Champion of the World, and Anthony Joshua is one fight away from becoming the IBF World Heavyweight Champion.

Oleksandr Uysk himself made the conscious decision to vacate his IBF World Heavyweight titles, Uysk was not stripped of his titles. This is a historical boxing fact, which many people in the boxing community refuse to acknowledge 'You are one of those individuals Boro, you are refusing to acknowledge this factor'.

I have once compared the Heavyweight World titles to Thor's Hammer 'Only those fighters who are worthy enough, can hold aloft the titles and wield its power as Champions'.

Oleksandr Uysk lifted the Heavyweight Hammer, and for a moment in time 'Oleksandr Uysk held all of the titles as the Undisputed heavyweight Champion, but then he lost his grip of the titles? And began to try and circumnavigated the ideals, obligations and requirements that are expected of a Champion'.

Note: There are requirements, and obligations that all Champions must adhere to? One of the most important duties is defending your titles against all comers'.

Sugar Ray Robinson had 201 fights in total. Henry Armstrong had 183 fights, once upon a time? Armstrong fought 27 times in one year.

Muhammad Ali got his jaw broken by Ken Norton in their first fight 'And even after such a injury, the rematch was less than 6 months later'.

The point I am trying to make is? If Oleksandr Uysk wanted to really keep the IBF title 'Then although yes, it would be a challenge for him. But there was nothing stopping him from fighting his mandatory challenger for the IBF title, before his rematch with Tyson Fury'.

To conclude: Therefore Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois, is justifiable the boxing contest which will decide who is the current IBF World Heavyweight Champion. The Heavyweight Hammer will find it's way back to the most worthy fighter, one who will hold it aloft and defend it with all of their power.

Oleksandr Uysk never lost his IBF title inside of the boxing ring, he never lost the titles by defending them as Champion 'Oleksandr Uysk and his team, made the conscious decision to vacate the titles. Because he did not want to fight his mandatory challenger, those are the facts'.

'Uysk is a great fighter, he is the most accomplished active fighter in the sport of boxing 'Uysk's wins over both Fury and Joshua are pound for pound, the greatest feats of achievement in the sport of boxing in the last 15 years'.

But even Oleksandr Uysk who I personally regard as the most accomplished active fighter in all of boxing and pound for pound the rated number 1 fighter in the sport on performance 'Even Uysk lost grip of those titles, and became unworthy'.

If Anthony Joshua wins the IBF titles, and ether Tyson Fury or Oleksandr Uysk have a issue with this 'Then they can challenge the man, and attempt to beat the IBF World Heavyweight Champion' etc.

I’ve said many times of this thread that AJ is never going to forget getting KTFO by DD in sparring. AJ has no chin and can’t take a shot. I also said DD is not a quitter for all who don’t understand his neurological disability.

Eddie Hearn, Tyson Fury, Spencer Brown all gave DD no respect. Eddie’s meal ticket has never recorvered from his KO by Ruiz. AJ as I’ve said many times fights like a deer in headlights.

Turli needs to surround himself with people who aren’t
d I c k riders like Hearn, Warren, and Brown and finally get TFO his Canelo v Crawford BS fight.

AJ is a shot fighter, period. Cong**** DD. Get someone besides your father and Warren who are stealing your
            money. Both are thieves.

Hearn, go away, enough if your
            hype BS too.
