How obvious does it have to be that Canelo’s a d1ck? The guys says he carried him because he didn’t want to damage his career but doesn’t realize that telling the world that actually damages mungias career? He’s basically saying you’re so shytty that o could’ve taken you out at any point but didn’t because I want the best for you. What a Fkn a hole

      Berlanga-Munguia probably a good match.

He carried the sh/t out of him, especially when he hurt him late in the fight and held him up like he was a child.

He didn't carry him. Just another pathetic excuse from Canelo because he couldn't stop him. The fan boys obviously swallow it.

Will somebody please provide a link where Canelo says he carried Mungia. Thanks in advance. I saw a bunch of post fight interviews of Canelo after that fight, in both English and Spanish, and didn't hear him say anything like that. I did hear many pundits and utubers suggest that Canelo carried him. I think that was disrespectful to Mungia who fought a good fight. In my view Canelo chose to not go all out for knockout for reasons that have nothing to do with "carrying"Mungia.

"Against Munguia (43-1, 34 KOs), Alvarez knocked down the challenger in the fourth round and admits he backed off from finishing him in the 12th because he both “enjoyed the fight” and didn’t want to embarrass Munguia after producing an entertaining scrap."

Believe him or not, Saul “Canelo” Alvarez maintains that his career vision is more of an event-by-event analysis rather than a grand plan extending years into the future.

They're both big asf. Munguias gotta be walking around the high 180s and Berlangas in the 190s. They can definitely absorb a punch.

                      After saying

“Winning by knockout is always wonderful, right?” the 33 year old said. “So I think I’m going to win by knockout before the eighth round.

“I don’t care if Munguia is younger; older. I don’t care, because Canelo in the end is different"
