Im a realist and I tell it like it is. I always said back then that Floyd wanted no part of Cotto & Margarito but I dont think he shouldve been ripped for it. Floyd isnt going to do something dumb just because they public wanted it. Margarito was a physical monster at that time while Floyd was coming into the ring at 146. Thats why he didnt take that fight. He was only a WW by name at that time. He was physicaly nothing like a WW while Margarito was more like a Jr. MW

Even against Baldy, Floyd looked like a flat board and everytime it was something physical, you could tell that Floyd couldnt handle it. People dont understand that though. From 130-140 he was unbeatable but at WW he was super small. Pac was fighting at SFW at the same time and they both would enter the ring weighing the same thing for there fights. Now Floyd is still the smallest WW but he's probably gained 4 pounds and is more comfotable at the weight. It wouldve been a different story if he was this Floyd back then

When it has some sort of credibility ..then sure. Its like learning from your past mistakes.
But saying "We will no longer speak of Cotto after Nov 14" or "Margarito will beat Cotto again" then we all know he is just being a hugger.
