You say all this after seeing what happened with Berlanga? Seems pretty clear now why Canelo has avoided — yes, avoided — Benavidez. Yeah, maybe Benny isn’t as good as many of us think, but he’s a damn sight better than fuc.king Berlanga. The Canelo that showed up last night might’ve very well lost against Benavidez, and David would’ve certainly trashed Berlanga.

The whole matchmaking situation between top guys at 168 has been a game of musical chairs as of late. I don’t think Andrade was a bad choice, given the circumstances. I’d love to see Benny fight Morrell; but now that they’re at 175, who knows?
