Berlanga is a not good fighter. He fought smart tonight but the knockdown kept him from opening up much during the rest of the fight because he didn't want to get countered.

Canelo has never been as big a puncher as people like to say. He has power but it us more his punching accuracy that keeps guys from exchanging alot with him. He has never knocked his top opposition out, only the ****ty cherry pick guys. Canelo is a GOOD fighter with a great chin. He just isn't some all time great or a monster.

Canelo showed the same thing tonight that he has shown for years now. He is on a steep decline. Berlanga is just not good. Canelo fights a few more times against bad comp, wins UD's and retires. He isn't going to get pummeled by Benavidez for any amount, and he isn't going anywhere near Biev or Bivol again. He is at the very end.

For the record, Benavidez would knock Berlanga out. Berlanga is barely skilled and has low ring IQ.

I was impressed by Berlanga. Something I didnt expect to be. Decent fight. Could of been far worse.

One cherry pick after another and they keep on taking him the distance. I wonder if he'll respond by facing even weaker opponents. Unless he faces another Yildirim I doubt he ever scores a KO again.

I can't name one fighter that Berlanga has beaten. This is the level that Canelo has dropped too.

Canelo wanted to hear the final bell badly. He was totally exhausted after 8 rounds. He Better stay from good fighters either at 168 or 175.

Berlanga is no champ, he's fought nothing but cans. He had no business being in the same ring as Canelo.
