Great, if Tank ir Zepeda had agree to fight Shakur their fight "might" had been canceled.

Farmer might be better practice for Stevenson. It's an easier opponent too in that Farmer has no power.

I wish Stevenson didn't break his hand. He could have used a tune-up.

I still think he will be able to beat Zepeda even without a tune-up. Stevenson faces tougher opponents. Zepeda's record is padded, like that of David Haney. When Zepeda and Stevenson faces each other....this fact will show.

Stevenson has made it very clear, he wants no part of Zepeda...

I was surprised when Stevenson and Zapeda did not organise a fight even though Turki clearly wanted it and said so on the stage. Oscar came up with some lame excuse about Zapeda becoming a father and then the next minute, both Zapeda and Shakur announced separate fights with different opponents only a month apart. Now it all makes sense. Oscar's team, I presume his match makers wanted another fight first to see how Zapeda handles African American style i.e. a clever boxer who moves a lot and does not like to engage too much. After that fight, they will decide if Zapeda is ready to deal with Shakur. Makes sense - they did not want to have their undefeated fighter loose his "0" without proper preparation.
