    Leigh Wood deserves better.

Rumours he’s facing Zelfa Barrett next despite being on a great run of fights/wins. Meanwhile Warrington who he knocked out is getting a World title fight.

I agree the common sense matches would be wood vs Cacace for the title and warrington vs Barrett.

Warrington just keeps getting endless undeserved shots

I think Warrington is simply in a right place, right time situation. He had no fight lined up and was desperate to fight after the drawn-out Wood negotiations fell through, was willing to move up, and Turki needed whatever UK stars he could get. Wood was supposedly sick/injured and wouldn't have been ready, but I've also heard Davison say that he wanted to give AJ undivided attention. Zelfa supposedly was offered the Shakur fight, but declined. Essentially.....Wood and Zelfa are the odd men out and they kinda have to fight each other to stay active. Wood wants a big money fight, but there is none at 130. Unfortunately for him, Cordina lost and went to 135.

I believe Wood said he was offered that Cacace fight but had to turn it down due to injury?

Zelfa vs Shakur... Sort of like giving Shakur a taste of his own medicine.
