    NYC, 8th Ave, Ali-Frazier 1, “The New Yorker”

    If you are ever in New York City and have some time, you can head over to the New Yorker Hotel on 8th Avenue diagonally across from Madison Square Garden about 100 yards away.

    This is the room Muhammad Ali stayed in when he was in town for the first fight with Joe Frazier in 1971 and this is, the door to the room.

    Also, in the hallway they have a giant picture on the wall from the fight. …
