Comments Thread For: Canelo Alvarez welcomes 'easy money' Conor McGregor fight

Saul "Canelo" Alvarez has wiped out the super middleweight division over the last four years, and not many credible contenders currently remain in the weight class for the 168-pound king.

Then why fight him? Take on a real challenge like when old Mayweather fought younger and bigger Canelo

yea Smash-um i know what you are talking about the boxing est just bow wow's to this guy for all it is worth sometimes i think they do it just to agitate guys like me. Most of the articles read like a script from a promoter, a stack of lies ( "Stack a Dollars" great blues song Big Joe Williams) from a salesman, but they do it with a lot of guys to some degreee i think they bank on those who do not know what to watch for in a fight or a match up, those too ****** to trust there own eyes, those whose thoughts are from what they read not what they watch or witness in the ring.................

Canelo - Mcgregor would be another farce, though one thing Connor is probably not wrong about, this Saturday night, I think the UFC event will mop the Canelo card. I don't even know whose on the UFC card, but the fact that it's the first fight at the Sphere and let's be honest, nobody thinks Canelo is losing this Saturday night, so less folks are going to put out money for an expected outcome.

I'd like to know the numbers afterwards though to see how much apart the two events were in regards to revenue made. It would be a telling sign of Canelos' drawing power against a lesser known opponent and when a big alternate combat fight card is going down at the same time.

mcgreg would have trouble boxing the head of some ole fella at a bar who wouldnt drink his whiskey, thats a 50/50 fight now

some angry hoe with a handbag would probably ko him in 1 or he might kick her and break his dodgy leg again

i think i see a pattern with canelo, he welcomes easy fights and runs away from hard fights, like dropping his belt for ggg going top guns and only fighting him when he looked a bit not so hot after jacobs close fight with ggg later on, having no interest in fighting benny & making many excuses not to do it over a long time period & high jack'ing the belts along the way with everyone sitting and waiting for him made possible by the corrupt shower of knobs that is the wbc & then choosing the weakest possible opponent after this
